The 2017 Honda HR-V is going to carry a 1.5-liter CVT engine that will be able to generate a power of 120 hp. This variant would probably be absent in the US variants. Use of gasoline engine was discussed in the past and might be implemented in this new model. Transmission for these setups would be both automatic as well as manual. Chances are all high on getting an eight-speed automatic transmission unit.

It did not come as a surprising news when Honda declared that Honda HR-V 2017 would cost higher than its predecessors. Considering all the modifications that are being made, this increase is price was eminent. Its price could stay in the range of $21,000 to $27,000.
This new model is going to be released very soon within the next few months of 2016. Chances are high on getting a mid-September-October release date.
