The 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer is a sports sedan expected to come with slight changes in 2017 after undergoing numerous updates in its 2016 model. The sedan is engineered to last long and also provide a convenient, safe and comfortable experience. It is also going to stand out as the last lancer to adorn the Evo badge.

Mitsubishi is hoping that the 2017 model will have some competitive edge over rivals such as the Nissan Sentra, Subaru Impreza, Ford Focus, Mazda 3, Honda civic and Toyota corolla among others. The 2017 model will come with three engine options and a facelift on its exterior.

The 2017 Lancer is expected to have a sportier, sharper and a more stylish look. Some of the refined changes expected on its exterior include a new shape to the headlights and grille. The appearance will be made even more appealing by the new spoke wheels and also some upgrade to its rear.

The interior is designed to complement its eye-catching exterior with a number of features such as a leathered three-spoke steering wheel, color LCD multi-information display. The 2017 Mitsubishi lancer will come with three engine options. There will be a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder engine for the ES version. Generating 148 hp with a maximum torque output of 145 lb-ft. The second version will be a little bit more powerful, a 2.4-liter inline 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 168 hp and a peak torque of 167 lb-ft. The third and the more powerful engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 cylinder generating 237 hp and a torque output of 253 lb-ft.

The official price and release date of the Mitsubishi Lancer 2017 have not yet been announced. However, there is speculation that the model will hit the market during the summer months of 2017. The price may vary depending on the trim level and any additional package options requested by the buyer. The prices are expected to range from $15,000 to about $26,000. Considering that most of the sedan’s key competitors cost more than that. There is no doubt that the 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer is fairly priced.
